Studio Policies & Client Agreement
1. Our Professional Standard
At Keyline Studios, we operate with a commitment to technical precision and clinical safety. Every tattoo session is conducted in a controlled environment using premium-grade pigments, single-use sterile equipment, and industry-leading hygiene protocols. By booking a session, you are entering into a professional agreement built on mutual respect for the craft.
2. Booking & Financial Terms
To maintain a high-level workflow, we adhere to a strict financial structure.
Professional Fees:
$100–$120 per hour, depending on project scale, detail density, and anatomical placement.
The Session Minimum:
Our base rate for any tattoo engagement is $100.
Design & Prep Time:
Technical preparation is a vital stage of the tattoo process. Drawing and freehand design time is billed as part of the session; for every hour of design prep, 30 minutes of the hourly tattoo rate is applied.
The Deposit Mandate: A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your appointment date. This deposit is an accountability fee that protects the studio's schedule and is applied toward the final balance of your session.
3. The Booking Process
1. Inquiry:
Complete the booking form with exhaustive details.
2. Vetting:
You will receive a response within 24–48 business hours regarding availability.
3. Deposit:
Once your project is approved, you will be instructed to send a deposit. Do not submit funds until you have received confirmation from Big Key. Invoice will be sent upon confirmation.
Final Balance: The remaining balance is due immediately upon completion of the session. Cash is the preferred standard. Please notify the artist 24 hours in advance if you require a digital payment alternative for the final balance.
4. Communication & Boundaries
To ensure the integrity of the creative process, all communication must remain centralized.
Centralized Messaging: All tattoo designs, reference images, and project details must be sent via email to bigkeyapps@gmail.com. Do not send design assets via text or DM; these will not be reviewed.
Medical/Emergency Only: The contact number +1 (803) 730-0136 is strictly for immediate session-day emergencies or medical concerns.
Arrival Protocol: Precision is expected. Arrive no more than 5–10 minutes before your scheduled time. Arrivals more than 20 minutes late may result in a forfeited deposit and a canceled session. If you are receiving numbing cream, please arrive 1 hour before your appointment.
5. Studio Etiquette
Guest Policy: Due to the sterile nature of the booth area, only one guest is permitted to accompany the client.
Environment: The studio is a professional workspace. Please ensure your guest respects the artists' and other clients' focused environment.
6. Privacy & Safety Policy
Your privacy is a priority. We utilize secure, third-party encrypted platforms for all financial transactions. All personal data collected during the booking process—including contact information and identification—is used exclusively for appointment logistics, medical screening, and aftercare follow-ups. We do not share or sell client information to third parties.
7. Final Acknowledgement
By submitting a deposit, you acknowledge that you have read and agreed to these terms. You understand that deposits are non-refundable and that all appointment changes or rescheduling must be handled directly through Big Key within the professional response window.
